We officially entered Mercury’s retrograde shadow under the Libra New Moon on October 21st. The planet will station retrograde on November 9th, in the sign of Sagittarius, and retrograde back into the sign of Scorpio later this month. This particular cycle speaks to the relationship between the bigger picture and overstory and the more nuanced context and emotional entanglements of the understory. Sometimes the surface or silhouette gives us all the information we need. But sometimes? We must go deeper to find the core meaning, where we also may find an opportunity to change or shift directions by understanding the underlying motivations and drives that have been informing us subconsciously and working to consciously integrate them into our conversations and conflicts in the areas of our lives that that this upcoming retrograde is impacting.
