In addition to her astrological practice, Rose is a multinstrumentalist, singer/songwriter, composer, and editor with a focus on podcasting and production.

Music projects include The Toothaches (2006-2018) and Night of Cups (2018-2020). Rose spent these years working in home studios and learning the ins and outs of digital audio production.

Rose is now performing and recording as Rose Virginia in and around Northern New Mexico. This project has been described as “deep canyon” “acoustic punk”. Rose’s vocals and performance are raw and dynamic, and her lyrics are haunting and potent. Her debut solo album is forthcoming.

Podcasting/Composing:

In 2019, she launched Big Dyke Energy, a queer culture and astrology podcast that she hosts with dear friend and collaborator, Gala Mukamolova.

In addition to BDE, Rose has provided editing services for Annabel Gat’s Patreon Podcast, Season 3 of Moonbeaming, and is currently editing and providing sound design for Crying in My Jacuzzi, with Dana Balicki.

Rose has also composed original theme music for CBAW Loves, WWIFY (Yellowjackets & …And Just Like That).
